SHARE PROJECT
PROCESS
This project refers to the construction of a single family residential building with ground floor and first floor. The proposed implantation polygon takes advantage of the extension of the land, in a configuration attentive to the nearby surroundings, with which it is formally related.
In general, with the construction of the building and the definition of the polygons of its two floors, the aim is to orient most of the living spaces to the South, towards greater solar utilization and consequent thermal and energy benefits. In this context, it was decided to move the polygon back to the North, providing a greater distance from the existing neighboring buildings on the South side, which allows freeing up a larger area of exterior arrangement facing South, suitable for leisure and outdoor coexistence of the inhabitants.
At the ground floor level, the proposal values the opening of the interior social space to the exterior space, with a grassy area, connecting these two moments and valuing the comfort inside the house and the enjoyment of the surrounding outdoor space. On the 1st floor, the rooms also benefit from this indoor/outdoor relationship, through the creation of terraces, as well as in visual terms, through the opening of spaces. Car access is to the North, and pedestrian access is to the West.
In this way, it presents coherence and harmony both in the enjoyment of interior spaces and the various daily experiences that are inherent to it, through the spatial differentiation of social spaces and private spaces, the connection and valorization of the indoor-outdoor relationship and thermal and energetic comfort.
