SHARE PROJECT
PROCESS
This subdivision operation is part of a plot of land measuring 11006.69m2 and aims to build 10 lots for single-family houses with two floors in an “L” shape, structuring and subdividing the land into approximately similar areas with the aim of making the most of the natural characteristics of the surroundings with a design that provides each future resident with a pleasant plot of land, whilst also demonstrating its importance as an element that generates and creates the urban fabric.
This intervention aims to provide inhabitants with a privileged view of the surrounding landscape and take advantage of the benefits associated with detached houses, both in terms of greater privacy and in obtaining private outdoor spaces for leisure and relaxation. All this in an exceptional location that offers residents a feeling of peace and personal space associated with the proximity of unique natural spaces.
The greatest natural constraints and, consequently, challenges, occur in terms of topography, and at the opposite limits of its front, there are elevation differences of around 6 meters, following the slope of the adjacent streets, and in the transversal profiles of the ground, elevation differences of around 8 meters can be observed in some points, which constituted some difficulty in achieving the most appropriate response in urban planning terms.
It should be noted that the land was always understood in the proposed solution as an urban fabric, integral and generator of urbanity, in a constant dialogue between the applicant’s desire and the morphological characteristics of the urban fabric in which it is located, meaning that the implantation of the buildings in each lot achieved an adequate urban and landscape integration in a design with a certain continuity with the existing surrounding buildings.
