The purpose of this urban development project is to construct a three-storey single-family dwelling, with only two floors above ground level. The floor below ground level will be used solely for storage.
In addition to complying with the applicable subdivision regulations, the proposal stems from the applicants’ desire for a single-family dwelling with two habitable floors, making the most of the plot area and taking into account the sun’s orientation for greater light and thermal benefits for the building.
In terms of typology, the dwelling developed is a three-bedroom house, containing three bedrooms, an office space and an open-plan kitchen and living room. The dwelling is distributed across the first floor – the entrance floor – and the second floor, on the same level, distinguishing, in its interior layout, the social spaces from the more intimate/private spaces.
