PROCESS
This architectural proposal is intended for the construction project of a single-family residential building. The house will consist of a single floor but with two different levels, the threshold level that concerns the social area of the house is 47 cm below the level of the private area.
The building consists of a single T3 dwelling, intended to serve as permanent housing. Following the desire of the applicants for a single-storey “L” shaped house, it was intended that the proposal would seek to make the most of the land on which it is located and making the most of the solar orientation.
It was taken into account that the internal organization of the building would separate the social and intimate parts of the house, seeking to open all the living spaces to the outside terrain. The social area also accesses a rear patio where it is possible to dine outdoors and access the higher elevations of the land where there are green spaces. The house also has a swimming pool and barbecue area.
The house contains a covered outdoor space for two vehicles, which allows sheltered outdoor circulation through a gallery.
All interior spaces have large windows that are provided with shading by the visors provided by the retreat from the facade plane, with the exception of the North facade for reasons of less sun exposure.
In formal terms, the building assumes its contemporary character and is distinct from other nearby buildings, due to the materials and colors selected. However, integrating harmoniously into the landscape and not seeking to contrast too much with it, always keeping in mind the urban adequacy of the proposal in line with the future well-being of the inhabitants.
