This is an alteration project of the plot plan where the clients were looking for a functional and spacious house as well as a modern design. Being aware of the proximity to the other dwellings, they were concerned about having privacy and tranquillity in their rooms. The challenge of this project was to frame a vast program within a pre-defined boundary. Taking advantage of the plot guidelines, the house could be raised one level to fit the garage on a lower level.

Meeting the client’s demands, an elegant and practical house was proposed that plays with monochromatic contrasts to differentiate itself in its context. Through the garage on the lower level or through the main entrance at street level, we reach the social space which is located on the first floor. On the top floor, the rooms are distributed to ensure the highest degree of privacy. The open-space on the first floor opens up to the pool and the green spaces of the plot, leaving the house totally connected to nature.

Program: Internal garage, laundry room, hall, service bathroom, office, open-space with living room, dining room and kitchen; two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, shared bathroom, master bedroom with bathroom and wardrobe; and exterior swimming pool.
