The clients of this project had really liked one of our works and wanted a house that, while adapting to their plan, reinterpreted the style that had caught their eye. We were asked for a modern ground floor house, with different levels in the pool area and a distinctive entrance with a strong visual impact. The site had no previous construction and the slope, within the estimated target area for the new house, could be described as flat.

The distribution of the plan follows an L-shaped typology. The bedrooms were placed in the longer south-facing arm and the open-space was facing west as a direct arrival space after the entrance hall. The rest of the plan was fitted around the angle, with the exception of the garage, which appears as an overlapping element. In the exterior garden space, the swimming pool and a second volume that serves as a support room complete the proposal. To create impact on the main façade, we played with the overlapping of the shafts as well as the contrasts between different elements and materials, creating an eye-catching and welcoming main entrance.

The resulting house is a residence that, while always maintaining privacy, cordially invites people in, only to immediately surprise them with its incredible central space.
