SHARE PROJECT
PROCESS
The clients of this project contacted us because, as owners of a small house, they wanted a new home that would make the most out of the potential of the land. They wanted a house that was as close to the ground as possible, as they were aware of the difficult topography of the land, and with a layout that ensured optimal sun exposure.
At the start of this project, there were two notable limitations with regard to the characteristics of the property. On the one hand, the excessive unevenness of the terrain, with a difference of more than 8 metres, and on the other, its unusual shape, being narrow and very elongated. In order to achieve a comfortable house, and at the same time fit the needs of our clients, an almost flat P-shaped house was proposed. This configuration manages to adapt to the surface of the land without major earthworks and frees up a large amount of space near the house, both for green areas and common outdoor spaces.
The proposal was realised as a series of loose volumes that provide rhythm to the house and increase the feeling of amplitude in the plot. With a pleasant, quick-line layout, all rooms receive a good amount of natural light and relate directly to the cared-for greenery outside.
Program: Exterior garage, open-space with living-room, dining-room and kitchen; pantry, service bathroom, laundry room, two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and a common bathroom; master bedroom with bathroom, built-in wardrobe and terrace; and an exterior swimming pool.
