PROCESS
The design of the single-family house for the plot took into account parameters such as solar orientation as well as the alignment with the neighbouring house to the north-east. The building is entirely open to the outside, to the most homogeneous part of the plot, where the swimming pool is located, thus taking advantage of the outside garden that surrounds it, making the social part of the house permeable to the garden.
In terms of programme, the building consists of two volumes, a rectangular volume on level 1 and an “L” shaped volume on level 2, this “L” shaped volume embraces the outdoor swimming pool.
The house is divided into two volumes: the first floor is used for services, with the entrance, garage, laundry and gym areas, while the second floor houses the public areas of the house, such as the office, living room, dining room and kitchen, as well as the private areas with the three bedrooms. Here the suite stands out for its configuration with the sanitary installation and an L-shaped dressing room at the entrance to the room, allowing the bed to be arranged facing outwards with the opening completely open.
Programme: Indoor garage, gym, laundry, entrance hall, toilet, office, open-plan with living room, dining room and kitchen, two bedrooms, one suite with dressing room, outdoor storage, outdoor barbecue and outdoor pool.
